Omaha Home to more than 800,000 residents, Omaha, in eastern Nebraska, became the home of the NCAA Division I Baseball College World Series in 1950. Werner Park, which also opened in 2011, is a baseball park with 6,434 fixed seats but can accommodate 9,023 people for baseball games. Michael G.
