Alexandria / Pineville CVB
Cajun Coast
Situated on the Red River, Alexandria is suited for a
variety of water sports, including dragon boat races.
Convention center: The Pontchartrain
Center has hosted AAU Girls' 11U and
9U Basketball National Championships,
Varsity Spirit Cheerleading, Dance Magic
Dance Competitions and Cheernation.

Lafayette
Lafayette is located in the heart of Cajun
Country in southern Louisiana. Home to
the University of Louisiana at Lafayette,
the city almost always has a sporting
event going on, such as regional and state
softball, golf, soccer and cycling.
