In the last few years, London, the county seat, has become known as the "Cycling Capital of Kentucky" thanks to its 300 miles of cycling trails and the annual Redbud Ride, an event that attracts approximately 1,200 cyclists from more than 20 states. In 2011, Active.com named the Redbud Ride as the "Best Century Ride in America."
