Olympic Committee Athletes' Commission. She joins Finnish ice hockey player Emma Terho as newly elected members of the 20-person commission. Voting took place among all competing Olympians from Feb. 1 – 21 in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Villages. Randall and Terho will serve eight-year terms. The goal of the IOC Athletes' Commission is to ensure that the athletes' viewpoint remains at the heart of Olympic Movement deci- sions. The majority of members of the commission are elected directly by Olympic athletes. Randall and teammate Jessie Diggins made history by win- ning the first Olympic medal in cross-country skiing for U.S. women (Team Sprint). Randall, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, is a three-time overall world cup sprint champion, three-time world championship medalist, 27-time world cup podium finisher and the first U.S. woman to earn a top-10 finish in cross-country skiing at the Olympic Winter Games. Randall also has served as an active ambassador for youth through leadership engagement with both Healthy Futures, and Fast and Female, and she played a key role in establish- ing greater leadership engage- ment for athletes within the International Ski Federation. Events USA BMX Announces Complete 2018 Schedule GILBERT, Ariz. — The USA BMX season is underway with events scheduled in New Mexico, Oregon, Georgia, Texas, California, Tennessee and Connecticut, and new locations and additional events slated through November across the country. Upcoming events include: • The Great Northwest National at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds First Interstate Bank Center, April 6 – 8 in Redmond, Ore. • Dixieland Nationals at the Cobb County BMX, April 20 – 22 in Atlanta, Ga. • Super Nationals at the DeSoto BMX, May 4 – 6 in DeSoto, Texas • Nationals at Metro BMX, May 18 – 20 in Bakersfield, Calif. • Music City Nationals and Round Six of the 2018 Pro Series, Metro BMX, May 25 – 27 in Nashville, Tenn. In addition, USA BMX announced plans this summer to move its headquarters from Chandler, Ariz., to Tulsa, Okla. Tulsa is expected to invest $15 million in Vision Tulsa funds to bring racing to the area.
