The board conducted a national search that included interviewing two external can- didates in addition to Fry. Fry began her career in 1999 when she joined the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in Olathe, Kan., as mar- keting manager. In 2004, she became manager of sports marketing and con- ventions/tours for the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, the city's CVB. She also earned professional designations of Certified Sports Event Executive (CSEE) and the Sports Marketing Professional (SMP). For more information, visit Lambert Joins Snohomish County Sports Commission SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — Quinn Lambert recently joined the sales team of the Snohomish County Sports Commission as the new sports sales manager. "The thing I am most looking forward to about working with the Snohomish County Sports Commission is the opportunity to help promote our local community," Lambert said. "As someone who has grown up in this region, I believe we offer many exciting benefits to visitors, specifically in sports tourism." Lambert earned a bache- lor's degree in sports man- agement from Washington State University (WSU). He worked in football video operations and football equipment for WSU. After graduation, he was hired by the Seattle Seahawks as an equipment intern and worked primarily with the defensive players and coaches. He then worked with an Everett-based sport- ing goods start-up company, and a national uniform and facilities corporation, gain- ing valuable experience in sales. He coaches youth and AAU basketball and will coach high school football next season.
