The area is home to major venues, such as MetLife Stadium, that have a long-standing history of hosting marquee sports events such as the 2016 Copa America Centenario, CONCACAF in 2015 and Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014. The area was just awarded the Army/Navy Game for 2021. Convention center: The Meadowlands Exposition Center offers 61,000 square feet of unobstructed space for all types of events. Events hosted here include dance championships and indoor soccer.
