The city is the destina- tion for attractions, including Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Crazy Horse Memorial. Parkview Sports Complex houses 12 tennis courts, six youth softball fields and an outdoor pool. Central States Fairgrounds offers 45 acres of space with a 6,000-seat grandstand, three outdoor arenas and one main indoor arena. The 210-acre Sioux Park consists of 12 tennis courts, two lighted soccer fields, one outdoor track and three baseball fields. Star of the West Complex has eight softball fields. Yankton Trail Park has 21 fields spread across 163 acres. Sherman Park has nine agri-lime lighted fields while Harmodon Park features eight agri-lime lighted softball fields and seven agri- lime lighted baseball fields. Convention center: The convention center is part of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and the combined multipurpose space covers 132,000 square feet. Two exhibit halls and a Grand Ballroom space combine to offer 50,400 square feet of column-free space.
