www.sportseventsmagazine.com September 2015 13 GOVERNING Bodies t Newly Renovated Wrestling Center Opens At OTC USA Wrestling and the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center (OTC) hosted a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Aug. 21 for the newly renovated Bill Farrell Wrestling Center at the OTC in Colorado Springs. The Bill Farrell Wrestling Center is located on the ground foor of Sport Center II at the OTC. The facility is named in honor of the late Bill Farrell, head coach of the 1972 U.S. Olympic freestyle team, New York Athletic Club athlete, and leader and innovator in the wrestling products industry with ASICS. n USA Synchro To Join Other NGBs In Colorado Springs INDIANAPOLIS—U.S. Synchronized Swimming Inc. (USA Synchro) Board of Directors made the decision recently to relocate from Indianapolis to Colorado Springs. "Being in the same city as the United States Olympic Committee, the Olympic Training Center and more than 20 other National Governing Bodies will give us the opportunity to have a much higher level of interaction and allow USA Synchro to utilize this resource on a regular basis, said Kevin Warner, USA Synchro CEO. USA Synchronized Swimming Inc., established in 1979, moved to Indianapolis in 1983 as part of a cam- paign to grow amateur sports in the city. "We will miss Indianapolis and every- thing the city has to offer, but now we will look forward to the opportunities that are available to us in Colorado Springs," Warner said. "We want to thank the city of Indianapolis for being a wonderful loca- tion for our organization for more than 30 years.
