Natural Venues L ong known for its sugar-white sands and emerald-green waters, Panama City Beach, Fla., is now being recognized by national and international sporting event planners as the ideal destination to host sports tournaments. Frank Brown Park is the centerpiece of Panama City Beach's sports scene. Lynn Haven Recreational Complex includes a community center, six baseball fields and two batting cages, two soccer and football fields, three beach vol- leyball fields, three tennis courts, a gym and weight training facility, four horseshoe pits, two shuffle board courts, a one-mile walking and bike track, a wilderness board- walk, a kitchen, a meeting room for plan- ning game-day strategies, and concessions. Callaway Sports Complex features five multi-use fields for soccer, lacrosse and a concession stand offering refreshments for athletes and fans.
