Venues Allen Event Center To Host 2013 NCWA Championships FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.— The National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) concluded its annual Vision Forum in July, announcing that its 2013 Championships would be held at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas. The Allen Event Center is a 3-year-old arena located just north of Dallas. It seats 6,275 for events including minor league hockey, football and soccer. City Plans Water Park, Sports Complex Combo NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—North Myrtle Beach offi- cials are moving forward with a water park/sports complex combination that is slated to open in 2014. The project will include a $26 million water park at the back of the complex, near the soccer fields. About 10 attractions would be part of the park's opening in the summer of 2014, including a lazy river, wave pool and slides.
