Beaumont's partners throughout the community rally together to welcome teams and their fans while serving up first-class experiences. Beaumont offers 3,500 guest rooms city- wide to accommodate play on 24 softball/ baseball fields, 45 soccer fields, 32 tennis courts and more than 137,000 square feet of indoor space. Ford Park's five versatile sporting sites with the 9,500-seat Ford Arena serves as Beaumont's centerpiece, but the new tennis facility at the Beaumont Athletic Complex headlines the community's progressive attitude. The newly expanded Municipal Tennis Center features 24 lighted two-tone hard- courts, four covered courts and a new 4,500-square-foot Clubhouse with a pro- shop, lounge, locker rooms and more. In addition to the new tennis courts, the Beaumont Athletic Complex has 12 softball diamonds with five-tier bleachers, four lighted sand volleyball courts, two soccer goals and a 1.25-mile jogging trail along with picnic and playground areas. The Ford Arena and the Ford Exhibit Hall combine for 83,000 square feet of flat indoor space. Ford Midway has nine acres of paved festival grounds, a 45,000-square foot practice arena and 25,000-square foot Ag barn for rodeos and extreme events. With 6,200 covered seats and another 12,000 on the lawn, Ford Pavilion is great for cheerleading events. When you add it all up, Beaumont's sports community gets it. n S Celebrated. Respected.
