Cedar Lane Sports complex, along with Carsins Run Fields, has 25 lacrosse and soccer fields. Ripken Stadium is a Minor League ballpark with a seating capacity of 6,300. The APG Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College is the largest multi-sport indoor venue in northeastern Maryland with 2,500 capacity in stadium seating and 3,200 with floor seating. Litchfield Hills Litchfield Hills is located in northwest Connecticut and is midway between Boston and New York. The area is known for its scenic beauty. The area has welcomed events of all sizes and scopes, from youth sports to the Special Olympics World Games. Hotel rooms: 1,400 Hotel tax rate: 15 percent Major facilities: The Yale Bowl has hosted hundreds of college football games, two seasons of NFL action and the Special Olympic World Games. Beckerman Athletic Center houses a gym with space for three collegiate-size basketball courts plus two composite courts, as well as a natatorium with a 25-yard, six-lane competition pool and two diving boards. The 75,000-square- foot Connecticut Sportsplex is a five- field outdoor venue that hosts baseball and softball. The Connecticut Tennis Center and Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center at Yale University consists of 22 outdoor Deco Turf II tennis courts, five outdoor clay courts, four indoor Deco Turf II surfaces and a 15,000-seat tennis stadium. Ingalls Rink at Yale University accommodates hockey. Jess Dow Field at Southern Connecticut State University is a stadium facility that hosts football, soccer, field hockey, and track and field. New Haven Athletic Center is a 100,000-square-foot field house ideally suited for basketball, wrestling, track and boxing. TD Banknorth Sports Center at Quinnipiac University is a complex featuring separate basketball and hockey arenas. Yale Field hosts baseball.
