The state capital has built fve state-of-the-art facili- ties in the last 20 years, all of which have hosted major sporting events. Convention center: The Colorado Convention Center encompasses 2.2 million square feet and hosts all sorts of events, including the Colorado Crossroads National Qualifer, National Veterans Wheelchair Games and Fan Fests for All-Star Games. Grand Junction Mountain biking, whitewater rafting, fshing and golf are just a few of the out- door adventures typically found in Grand Junction, a city in western Colorado.
