Hotel rooms: 6,000 Major facilities: Towson University's SECU Arena is a 5,200-seat, multi-pur- pose venue that frequently hosts basket- ball, volleyball and gymnastics. Towson University's Unitas Stadium offers seating for 17,198 and a feld house. University of Maryland Baltimore County's (UMBC) Retriever Soccer Park features a 120-yard- by-70-yard feld with seating for 1,500. UMBC's Retriever Activities Center & Arena is a 4,024-seat venue for basketball and volleyball. Stevenson University's 3,000-seat Mustang Stadium is used for football, lacrosse and feld hockey. Charles County Charles County is 30 minutes from Washington, D.C., and is situated in the heart of the D.C.-Baltimore-Richmond corridor. Bryantown Sports Complex is com- posed of 15 soccer felds. Laurel Springs Park offers two baseball felds, fve soft- ball felds, three Little League felds, a football feld and fve soccer felds. Robert D. Stethem Park houses 10 Little League and Big League baseball felds. Turkey Hill Park includes four soccer felds, one football feld and a multi-purpose area. White Plain Regional Park features an 18-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, one lighted soccer feld, a lighted soft- ball feld, one lighted baseball feld, one lighted Little League feld and a lighted football feld. Oak Ridge Park Equestrian Facility includes a show area with two riding rings and miles of equestrian trails. Smallwood State Park hosts fshing tour- naments. Frederick County Frederick County is situated in north- ern Maryland and is a few hours' drive from New York, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and less than an hour away from Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Gettysburg. The picturesque county offers sweeping views of mountains and historic covered bridges. The Community Aquatic and Recreation Complex at Garrett College features a 25-meter competition pool with six lanes.
