Sioux Falls
Southwest South Dakota is home to
Sioux Falls, the state's largest city. All
sorts of new venues are popping up in
Sioux Falls. The Denny Sanford
Premier Center and the Sanford Sports
Complex, both currently under con-
struction, will open in the fall of 2014.
Scheels IcePlex will also open
up three indoor sheets of ice
this fall. A new seven-court
Community Indoor Tennis
facility will open in the spring
of 2015.

Major facilities: The Sioux
Falls Arena is an 8,000-seat,
multi-sport venue that hosts
basketball, hockey and indoor
football. Sherman Park has
nine lighted softball fields.
Harmodon Park offers seven
baseball fields and eight softball
fields. Yankton Trail Park
features 21 soccer fields.
Convention center: The Sioux
Falls Convention Center offers
71,000 square feet of space.
