Lebanon features a separate NFHS regulation Marmix clay baseball diamond with bleachers, lights, scoreboard, 60 ft. dugouts, batting cage & more. Quantity & Quality Top Priorities For ASA Softball and baseball organizations look at a variety of factors when it comes to selecting a host city for an event. A locale with the right size and number of facilities is priority number one for ASA/USA Softball. "We say that you need a field for every 10 teams entered into a fast pitch event," said Ron Radigonda, executive director of ASA/USA Softball. "So, if you have 170 teams in the tournament youʼre going to need 17 legitimate fields to conduct the event. The city doesnʼt have to have the fields all in one location, but they must have the right facilities when it comes to quantity and quality," Radigonda added. 34 2014 Baseball/Softball Sourcebook www.SportsEventsMagazine.com
